What are Leghandles?
LegHandles are products design to improve lineout performance. Jump higher with greater stability, win more lineouts and games, and enjoy greater comfort with LegHandles.
LegHandles.com products come in three main varieties: Sausage, LegHandles, and LegGlove.
The Sausage product line provides reusable products which improve on the makeshift bulges seen on Rugby fields today.
LegGloves are made of comfortable neoprene and have ergonomically designed pockets for the lifter's hand, allowing least alteration of grip.
The pocket of the LegGlove keeps the hand from slipping off during the lift, resulting in very stable lifts. It is the easiest to grip during the jump.
LegHandles are straps for your legs, with handles, allowing lifters to get a strong, secure, and balanced power grip.
The LegHandles allow both the front and back lifters to lift the same height, resulting in the highest, most stable lifts. LegHandles give the jumper a comfortable, solid base from which to manuever.
The fabric of the Sausage attached, reusable underwrap, or compression shorts protects the skin and hair of the leg from the adhesive of the athletic tape. It is more comfortable, faster and easier to put on, and requires significantly less tape. It also saves trainers time during the critical period before a game.

How do they stay up?
LegGlove Models 700 and 705 do not require taping. With a proper fit, the LegGlove will stay above the knee joint during normal game play. They may also be worn around the lower leg, if desired, between jumps.
Sausage Models 500, 550 and 600 are designed to be used with a reduced amount of tape. We recommend on wrapping of athletic tape at the top to hold the Model 500 or 550 in place to the leg. This is not required on the Model 600 which uses the integrated compression shorts to hold the sausages up. For an enhanced grip, we recommend one wrapping of ourGet a GRIP! tape over each Sausage. Finally, we recommend at least one wrapping of athletic tape (or electrical tape) on top of the fabric above and below each Sausage to hold them where you want them. For example, see Model 500 taping diagram.
LegHandles Models 100 and 105 may slide down the leg (and possibly catch on a cleat) during game like situations. We recommend at least one wrapping of athletic tape to hold both the top and the bottom of the strap to the legs.

How are they better than what I use?
Leghandles.com products save you time! Forget wasting time at the trainer's table or taking time away from your warm-up to apply a new tape job before every game. Leghandles.com products slip on easily to get you game ready fast.
Leghandles.com products save you (or your athletic training staff) money! LegGlove Models 700 and 705 do not require taping. LegHandles Models 100 and 105 and Sausage Models 500, 550 and 600 reduce the amount of tape required. Rolls of tape and other material for making tape jobs adds up over time. And no two tape jobs are the same. One purchase with Leghandles and you have consistent liftings aids everytime.
Leghandles.com products increase the jumpers comfort.

Does the tape have to go on the jumper's leg?
All of the products are designed to reduce or eliminate the amount of tape applied to the skin. The Sausage Compression Shorts 600, LegGlove 700 and 705, require no tape on the skin. The LegHandles Models 100 and 105 and Sausages 500 and 550 need one at least one wrap of tape to the skin or to a pair of compression shorts to hold them up. The Sausage Models 500, 550, and 600 are then taped around (above and below) each Sausage (on the Spandex fabric) to hold them from slipping up the leg during the lift.

How do I use the Get a GRIP! Tape Kit (Model A30)?
The Get a GRIP! Tape Kit (A30) is recommended for taping over the Sausage Models 500, 550, and 600. One wrap of Get a GRIP! Stretch Tape is placed, centered over the Sausage and then athletic tape is used to tape below and above the Sausage leaving the Get a GRIP! Stretch Tape exposed over the Sausage.
